How is weight gain distributed over the 9 months of pregnancy?
During the first trimester of pregnancy, weight gain is usually very low or almost zero. Indeed, nausea during the first 12 weeks are (unfortunately) the most effective appetite moderators.
It is during the second trimester that the biggest weight gain will occur. Considering that approximately 60% of the total weight will be earned during this period. And after childbirth? How do you lose your weight?
If you have gained weight reasonably during pregnancy, that is to say, in line with the recommendations given above, the accumulated fat reserves should not be too hard to lose. As for the often accumulated water retention, it will evaporate very quickly after birth (sometimes overnight sweats).
Conventional wisdom often said it took nine months for your body to give birth to your baby, and it will also have nine months to return to its original shape. Do not yield to the temptation to force your body to get into your favorite fit jeans a few weeks after delivery, especially if you are breastfeeding. Be patient and let nature take its course!
